HOBBBBBBBBBBIT
So now Black Pipes have two black 83 Honda PA50s. I love the rad 80’s style of these bikes. I’m taking a different path with mine, however. Keep it ratty, keep it weird. It still needs wires and cables, but you get the idea.
Specs:
83 pa50 ($100)
DR kit ($85 [via 77’s 17% off sale])
Hacked and welded Puch Proma Circuit (basically free)

Closer
So last time I posted I had hardwired the bike but things were still pretty messy. Since then I trimmed the wiring down and got things a lot cleaner. It’s not 100% perfect yet but it’s good enough for now. Everything routes under the fuel tank or is the right length for where it needs to go. The CDI box is zip tied to one of the little tabs on the subframe and I think it’s pretty...
2.0

efilthy gila build
Here’s what I’ve been up to for the last couple of days.
The finished product, a mild gila build. Here’s how I did it.
I started by tearing down my tried and true mk65 setup. The stock brass bushing crank was blue from the tremendous amounts of friction that it made. Thanks for not melting and ruining everything old cranky!
Yikes! The mk65 piston has some mad...

Yes yes yesss
Hey bro I heard you like bad cable and wire management
I took advantage of the warm temps and clear skies and went down to the shop to wire the bike up. It’s an easy hardwire once you figure it all out, and sketching it out in advance made it easier. Right now everything is pretty hilariously janky, a lot of stuff needs to get shortened, re-routed, etc. But the important thing is…...
